Purmo Group, a leader in sustainable indoor climate comfort solutions, has released its first Sustainability Report, showing significant progress in its commitment to sustainability. The report, which will become an annual publication, explains the ‘Complete Care’ approach in detail, along with its results and plans for the future. It is available on the Group’s website or via the link included in this release.

‘Complete Care’ is designed to be comprehensive, covering four focus areas: the things the company makes, the way it makes them, its employees and the communities it reaches. These areas are reflected in ten commitments and measured in 24 transparent KPIs. The approach puts sustainability on all agendas including: production, product-design, emissions, material-sourcing, training and community engagement.

The 2022 report includes the following highlights:

  • 9% reduction in Scope 1&2 Greenhouse Gas emissions1
  • 15% improvement in carbon intensity2
  • 11% improvement in employee Net promoter Score3
  • 6% improvement in Lost Time Incident Frequency Rate (LTIFR)4
  • 6,680 community-volunteering hours5

  • The first Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)
  • Improvement in all health and safety KPIs

“We believe that Complete Care is one of the most comprehensive sustainability strategies in our industry. Our decisions to design it in 4, all-encompassing areas and report it in science-based targets show our commitment to making changes that matter. This practical approach helps us to make more informed and positive decisions in providing sustainable, integrated solutions and evolving our business. This is great news for customers, employees, shareholders and the planet,” says Sam Hodlin, Head of Sustainability of Purmo Group.
